Gluten-Free Delicious Salmon Cakes
This gluten-free salmon cake recipe is incredibly easy and delicious appropriate for all ages and is filled with all the goodness that your body needs.
Serves: 9 patties - Prep Time: 15 min - Cooking Time: 25mins
Ingredients:
2 salmon fillets
150-gram rolled oats
1 egg
50 grams of milled flaxseeds and various nuts (I used Linwoods mix of flaxseed, almonds, brazil nuts, walnuts, and co-enzyme Q10)
2 pinches salt
2 pinches pepper
Directions:
Cut the fillets into cubes or dice thinly. I prefer fat chunks of protein but it is up to you. Then transfer the salmon to a bowl.
Using a strong blender, turn rolled oats into flour and add them to the bowl with the salmon.
Add an egg to the bowl and the seasoning (salt & pepper).
Mix the ingredients with a fork or with your hands.
Shape the mix into burgers or patties, add them in the mix of flax seeds and nuts, and then on a tray covered with baking paper.
Bake the salmon cakes for 25 to 30 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.
For a complete meal accompany the patties with a colourful salad and some type of fat source like avocado or feta cheese.
Enjoy!
That’s it for this week!
